Town of Boulder Creek (4)

Boulder Creek has been known by many names in its history. Among them, "Emerald of the San Lorenzo", "Phoenix of the Mountains", "Turkey Foot" and "Boulder". Of all of them, "Phoenix" seems to be the most appropriate since the town has been razed by fire, swept by floods, and rocked by earthquakes, including the Loma Prieta earthquake, only to spring from the ashes and recreate itself like the mythological bird .Silicon Valley is less than an hour away, and with the improved quality of life in the mountains as opposed to living in the Santa Clara Valley, more and more of them arrive every year.
