The Wings of History Museum is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and restoration of antique aircraft as well as other aviation artifacts. It's also a member of Gilroy Chamber of Commerce. Seen on this VR panorama is one-of-a-kind Homebuilt combining a Simca car with a 300hp Lycoming aircraft engine and crude welded structure to create a helicopter-car. The Simcopter was designed, constructed, and piloted by David Dobbins in Guadalajara, Mexico. Mr Dobbins flew his creation to a height of 5 feet as reported by the local newspaper, "El Occidental", on August 15, 1957. Scary!
